Bhutan is one of the least explored countries in the world, but it’s an absolute treasure. The country’s commitment to preserving its culture and environment is inspiring. I spent time in the Paro Valley, where I hiked up to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a sacred site perched on the edge of a cliff. The views were spectacular, and the spiritual energy of the place was palpable. I also visited Punakha, known for its breathtaking Punakha Dzong, which sits at the confluence of two rivers. Bhutan offers a unique travel experience that’s unlike anywhere else.
